What Vebo is
Vebo is a website and progressive web app (PWA) that connects businesses — like bakeries or other shops with products nearing their expiration or discard date — with buyers who want to take them home at a discount before they're lost. Each Seller publishes their products with an original price, a discounted price, the number of packages available, and a pickup time window; each Buyer reserves and pays in advance to secure their package.
Vebo doesn't make, prepare, or sell the published products: it's the technological meeting point between the business offering them and the person picking them up (see Section 07).
Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using Vebo you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of them, you must not use the platform.
To use Vebo you need to be 18 or older, since the platform involves payment transactions. If you're acting on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind it to these terms.
Your account and role
You sign up with email and password, or with your Google account. Each email address maps to a single account: if you later use the other sign-in method with the same email, it links to the same account instead of creating a new one. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account.
When you sign up you pick one of these two paths, and the choice is fixed: there's no way to switch roles inside the app once the account is created.

If you later want to use Vebo with the other role, you'll need to register a separate account with a different email address.
How to buy
- You pick a product in the gallery and how many packages you want to reserve; Vebo validates on the spot that there's stock available before letting you move on to payment.
- Vebo charges first, reserves second: your reservation is only created once the payment is confirmed as approved. If the payment fails, is cancelled, or stays pending, no reservation is created and no stock is deducted on your behalf.
- Payment is processed through Mercado Pago; you enter your payment details directly in its interface, never in a Vebo form.
- Pickup happens at the store's address and within the time window shown at the moment of purchase.
- As a Buyer, you can browse the platform normally; selling tools (publishing a store or products) aren't available on your account.
to be defined the concrete cancellation and refund policy, and what happens if you don't pick up your order within the indicated window — the system supports a refunded payment status, but the business policy behind it is still to be defined by Vebo.
How to sell
- As a Seller you manage your own Store Gallery: you create one or more stores with a name, description, address, and Google Maps link, and publish products with an image, name, description, category, unit of measure, original price, discounted price, pickup window, and number of packages available.
- You're responsible for that information being accurate and up to date, and for the products you offer complying with the regulations that apply to their sale (for example, food-safety conditions where applicable).
- You need to connect your own Mercado Pago account before you can publish products: without a connected account, Vebo can't create a charge on your behalf (see Section 06).
- Once a Buyer pays and the reservation is created, you commit to honoring it within the published pickup window.
- You can browse the public gallery to see what the platform looks like from a Buyer's side, but purchase actions are disabled for Seller accounts, even if attempted directly.
Platform fee and payments
Mercado Pago is Vebo's only payment processor. Every time a Buyer completes an approved payment, Vebo automatically withholds a configured percentage as a platform fee, and the rest is settled directly into the Mercado Pago account you, as a Seller, connected — Vebo never holds the sale's money in an account of its own before splitting it.
- The fee is calculated on the total approved amount, always rounded down, so the fee and the Seller's net amount add up to exactly the total charged.
- The percentage in effect at the moment the charge is generated is the one applied to that specific transaction, even if the general percentage changes later.
- No fee is charged on payments that stay pending, are rejected, or are cancelled — only on approved payments.
- The default currency for transactions is Argentine peso (ARS).
If you disconnect your Mercado Pago account, your products are automatically unpublished and blocked from new purchases until you reconnect it; whatever you had published is restored as-is once you reconnect.
Vebo as an intermediary
Vebo puts businesses in touch with buyers and processes the charge, but it isn't a party to the sale contract for the product itself: that contract is between you, the Buyer, and the store that published it. As a result:
- The Seller is solely responsible for the quality, condition, accurate description, and regulatory compliance of what they publish (including, where applicable, food-safety or other relevant business-activity rules).
- Vebo doesn't physically inspect products or stores before they're published.
- Any claim about a product received (condition, quantity, match with what was published) is resolved in the first instance between Buyer and Seller; Vebo may help as an intermediary, but doesn't guarantee the outcome.
Acceptable use
By using Vebo, you agree not to:
- Create multiple accounts to get around the permanent nature of your Buyer or Seller role, or to get around a suspension.
- Attempt to run a purchase or other restricted action by bypassing interface controls (for example, directly triggering a purchase action that's blocked for your role); these attempts are rejected server-side even if the control was hidden or disabled on screen.
- Publish false, misleading products, stores, or information, or ones you can't follow through on.
- Make fraudulent payments, file bad-faith chargebacks, or interfere with the availability of other users' packages through automated means.
- Attempt to bulk-extract data from the platform (scraping), or manipulate, decompile, or interfere with how the service works.
Breaching this section can lead to the suspension or termination of your account, under Section 12.
Intellectual property
The Vebo brand, the platform's design, and the software that runs it belong to Vebo. You're not granted any right over them beyond normal use of the app as a registered user.
Content a Seller uploads (product names and images, store description, etc.) remains their property; by publishing it, they grant Vebo a license to display it within the platform for the sole purpose of offering the product to Buyers.
Privacy
What personal data we collect, what we use it for, and what we share with Mercado Pago and Google to operate your account is detailed separately in the Vebo Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.
Limitation of liability
Vebo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
We're also not responsible for interruptions, changes, or failures of third-party services we integrate — such as Mercado Pago or Google sign-in — that are outside our direct control, although we work to minimize their impact on your experience.
Account suspension and closure
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, in particular Section 08 on acceptable use, or where there's reasonable evidence of fraud or chargeback abuse. When possible, we'll let you know why.
You can stop using Vebo whenever you want. If you want to request the closure and deletion of your account, write to us through the contact channel in Section 15 — today that request is processed manually, since the app doesn't yet offer a self-service option to delete an account.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute arising from their interpretation or performance is submitted to the ordinary courts with jurisdiction over to be defined: jurisdiction/city, with a waiver of any other venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If the change is material, we'll notify you with reasonable advance notice by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vebo after that date means accepting the updated version.
